Colegio Impacto (MAIA Guatemala) fue premiado y reconocido con el Premio Zayed de Sostenibilidad en la categor\u00eda de Escuelas Secundarias como uno de los colegios que provee soluciones innovadoras, impactantes e inspiradoras que permiten un acceso inclusivo y equitativo a una educaci\u00f3n de calidad en todo el mundo. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Re\u00f1ida competencia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El Colegio Impacto compiti\u00f3 con m\u00e1s de 2,000 aplicaciones en todo el mundo, quedando como finalista junto a Brasil y Chile para la regi\u00f3n de Las Am\u00e9ricas, habiendo ganado por haber presentado una propuesta consider\u00e1ndose como la m\u00e1s completa en la regi\u00f3n y se distingui\u00f3 por abordar una serie de retos sostenibles a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alumna viaja para recoger el galard\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ester Noem\u00ed Bocel Chop\u00e9n, de 15 a\u00f1os de edad, cursante de tercero b\u00e1sico en el Colegio Impacto, viaj\u00f3 a la capital de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos, Abu Dhabi, para recibir el premio en mano del Jeque Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, el pr\u00edncipe heredero de Abu Dhabi. \u00a0\u201cTener el valor y saber generar un cambio; empezar desde nosotros mismos y no esperar a que otra persona te diga qu\u00e9 hacer\u201d, expres\u00f3 Ester Bocel, al recibir el premio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11 ediciones del premio hasta hoy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El Premio Zayed Sustainability Prize, establecido en 2008, ha pasado de ser una iniciativa ambiciosa y dirigida por el liderazgo de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos que buscaba alentar la acci\u00f3n mundial en el desarrollo de soluciones de energ\u00eda renovable, a uno de los premios m\u00e1s importantes y reconocidos a nivel mundial por afectar el impacto humano positivo y sostenible. El Colegio Impacto es la primera iniciativa que se lleva \u00e9ste premio en Guatemala, un reconocimiento al trabajo y liderazgo local de las mujeres ind\u00edgenas en Solol\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
